STEAM Club term 3 at Capalaba library is underway and participants have already blown us away with their knowledge of coding!
Week one started off with participating in the Code Club yearly Moon Hack. This year was all about celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. Participants spent the time creating a space-themed game and making their very own paper straw rocket. In week two, participants began learning about what programming is all about. In this lesson, it was up to the participants to get into groups and explain an image to another person. That person would then try to draw the image on a piece of graph paper. This got participants thinking about how computers understand code, the code needs to be exact for the computer to then design that image. In the end participants:
Well done to everyone!
