This week’s lesson was all about getting the participant’s robots ready to detect obstacles and how they do that is by adding an Ultrasonic to their robot. An ultrasonic allows a robot to react to the world around them by sensing obstacles around them and reacting to those obstacles. How a robot reacts to an obstacle varies by what code has been written. The lesson started off with learning all about the ultrasonic and then putting it into practice. At the end of the lesson, all participants had their Ultrasonic tested and working and they are very excited for the next few weeks…
