Week 4 was all about getting started making webpages creative and pretty using CSS. The students continued using the webpages we had created last week about our imaginary lost cat named Felix. They made changes to the colour and sizes of the fonts, the position of everything on the page, and the size of headings giving the pages a unique style.
At the end of the class, we tried uploading the websites to the internet. We got a few up during class, but had some connection problems. Not to worry, the rest are up for the world to see. You can check out all of the webpages in the Students section of the website.
Next week, we are continuing with CSS, so stay tuned.
Welcome to Code Redlands
Code Redlands is a coding and robotics program dedicated to creating a an environment where we can explore, learn and create. With Digital Literacy a new focus for the future, we want to augment digital literacy skills by offering space, technology, and facilitators. We hope to equip the next generations of Queenslanders with STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) skills to find their own place in an increasingly digital world.
Redland Libraries offer School Holiday Activities throughout the year for children aged 8 and above.
