In Week two at Capalaba Code Club, the participants learnt how to create their very own Stop Motion video. The session started out with learning what different types of apps there are and that not all apps that are created are games. The participants then started learning about how to create a storyboard to help them visualise what they were actually going to film. Once the storyboard was completed, everyone started filming their stop motion with Lego, play-doh, backgrounds and more. It definitely engaged everyone as all of the participants successfully created their very own video!
Enjoy the videos; it was a fun time for everyone!
P.S. No Lego people were harmed in the filming of these videos
Welcome to Code Redlands
Code Redlands is a coding and robotics program dedicated to creating a an environment where we can explore, learn and create. With Digital Literacy a new focus for the future, we want to augment digital literacy skills by offering space, technology, and facilitators. We hope to equip the next generations of Queenslanders with STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) skills to find their own place in an increasingly digital world.
Redland Libraries offer School Holiday Activities throughout the year for children aged 8 and above.
