Hi everyone, we have updated the website to a new format.
Term one has been hectic with Cleveland running both an Arduino club and a Code Club and Victoria Point joining the coding club fray.
This year we have begun a new format in both Code Club and Arduino Club.
We have managed to extend the number of options within code club, kids can now learn; Scratch, Python and Java as well as a variety of coding activities involving minecraft, star wars, lightbot, makey makeys and 3D printing.
As ever we are developing the coding space to make a fun and varied place to learn code.
Starting in May, we also starting code club at our Capalaba branch and booking details for the clubs can be made on the branch pages : Cleveland, Capalaba, Victoria Point.
Our Easter school holiday activities are also filling up quickly.
Our Arduino club started a new format last term as well, with kids creating a variety of smaller projects from motorised airplane launchers to a love-o-meter.
Welcome to Code Redlands
Code Redlands is a coding and robotics program dedicated to creating a an environment where we can explore, learn and create. With Digital Literacy a new focus for the future, we want to augment digital literacy skills by offering space, technology, and facilitators. We hope to equip the next generations of Queenslanders with STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) skills to find their own place in an increasingly digital world.
Redland Libraries offer School Holiday Activities throughout the year for children aged 8 and above.
