On the second last week on Code Club, the participants were able to create their very own dancing Sphero. It was their task for the lesson to choose a piece of music, then code their Sphero to dance in time with the music. They could choose the colour of their Sphero (or have multiple colours) and use the code provided in any sequence they like. There were figure eights, jumps, spins and colour changing Spheros. It was like being in the middle of a disco! Well done to all the participants, it was a spectacular dance show!
Welcome to Code Redlands
Code Redlands is a coding and robotics program dedicated to creating a an environment where we can explore, learn and create. With Digital Literacy a new focus for the future, we want to augment digital literacy skills by offering space, technology, and facilitators. We hope to equip the next generations of Queenslanders with STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) skills to find their own place in an increasingly digital world.
Redland Libraries offer School Holiday Activities throughout the year for children aged 8 and above.
