Code Club This term our participants are looking at electricity, circuits and Makey Makey’s. Starting out small we are learning the basics of circuits and working up to making our own Makey Makey musical instrument. This week, we learnt the basics of wiring a circuit by making our own game controllers from copper tape, wire, cardboard and a load of imagination. Intermediate Robotics This term we are taking a leaf from Robocup Junior Rescue and our partcipants are rescuing people from a deadly toxic spill! Their robot must be able to autonously make its way along a maze it has never navigated before, navigate obstacles, bridges, intersections and finally locate the victim and get him out of the dealy spill. Our participants are learning new coding skills, like two sensor line following, PID, casewhere programming and myblocks. Let’s hope they make it in time!
