This term in Steam club at Cleveland our group created a retro platform game.
Each participant created their own level and using scratch we joined them all together. Our intrepid hero navigated rivers or boiling lava, jumped untold platforms, avoided a myriad of monsters to warp their way beneath Buckingham palace and retrieve the magic wand. We learned some principles of game design, story narration, sprite design and even a little coding. Download the link the link below to play our creation, you will also need an offline version of scratch (preferably scratch 2) to play it. We will try to upload the game to the website as soon as possible, but with the change in version, in may take a little time. Thanks to all the participants for such an awesome creation. See you next term. The Cleveland STEAM Team. Scratch 2 The game
