This term of Capalaba Library’s Basics Robotics Club has been flying along! The children have been learning how to build and code Lego Mindstorm EV3 robots to battle each other at the end of term! All of the participants are working hard and have a strong focus to design the best robots they possibly can! The end of term battle will consist of two robots at a time dueling each other in three rounds to see which bot is the most robust! Some robots are quick, some are tactical and some are designed to destroy! The team here are very excited to see who wins and are very impressed with the joy all of the children have found in learning to code! Stay tuned for next term’s club!
Welcome to Code Redlands
Code Redlands is a STEAM and robotics program dedicated to creating a an environment where we can explore, learn and create. With Digital Literacy a new focus for the future, we want to augment digital literacy skills by offering space, technology, and facilitators. We hope to equip the next generations of Queenslanders with STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) skills to find their own place in an increasingly digital world.
Redland Libraries offer School Holiday Activities throughout the year for children aged 8 and above.
