With their Arduino projects completed last term and having received their first Arduino licences, our returning students moved on to bigger and better things. Creating their very own robot from scratch using their coding, wiring skills and techniques they had learnt from completing the 8 week program. This term also brought along some new faces and they began their weekly projects by using the parts found in a basic Arduino kit like this one and working towards their own Arduino licences. Once again this was based around the Getting started with Arduino guide and the videos from Massimo, which gave them the confidence and knowledge to start a basic robot build towards the end. The term finished with a bit of fun with the kids creating their very own stop motion animation. A short video created with some of the term 2 arduino club and their robots

Welcome to Code RedlandsCode Redlands is a coding and robotics program dedicated to creating a an environment where we can explore, learn and create. With Digital Literacy a new focus for the future, we want to augment digital literacy skills by offering space, technology, and facilitators. We hope to equip the next generations of Queenslanders with STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) skills to find their own place in an increasingly digital world.
School Holiday ActivitiesRedland Libraries offer School Holiday Activities throughout the year for children aged 8 and above.
